Mindfulness Courses

Several courses have now been run based on the book 'Mindfulness: Finding peace in a frantic world' by Mark Williams and Dan Penman).  Comments from a previous group after the 8 week course included:

"It has helped me deal with the irritations of daily life more positively"
"I feel more relaxed and I am sleeping better"
"It helps you to stand back and think about problems rather than rush in"

The sessions are about an hour and include refreshments. There is some discussion but the main core of the session is one or more mindfulness meditations using the CD that accompanies the book mentioned above.

In the future, we hope to offer an ongoing programme of Mindfulness for Beginners, Christian Mindfulness and occasional 'refresher' evenings of Mindfulness and Spirituality.
